How Did Superman get his Abs of Steel?

By doing Superman Pushups of course.

Below I'm going to show you how to do a super-powerful abdominal exercise. Just like the rest of the Lightning Speed Fitness Program, it doesn't require any exercise equipment.

You are the gym. Workout anywhere, and anytime. You don't need any fancy exercise gadgets.

Let me show you how to do Superman Pushups. I'll give you verbal instructions and a set of Superman Pushup pictures. These photos will make it easy for you to learn how to do this awesome exercise.

What's great about the Superman Pushups:

Why are Superman Pushups such an effective ab exercise?
It's because they force you to contract all of your abdominal muscles powerfully, just to keep your body straight, while you are going down and back up. At the same time Superman Pushups strengthen your lower back incredibly.

These pushups are very hard to do in the fully outstretched position. You need super strong abs and lower back muscles just to be able to do one repetition. The way to do them is to start off with modified superman pushups.

Even in the pictures below I'm not fully outstretched. Being 6' 3" makes doing a fully outstretched Superman Pushup extremely difficult. It can be very painful on your back so always start off with the modified version, unless you're already a Greek God.

Basically the only difference between a Superman Pushup and a regular Military Pushup is the position of your hands. What you want to do is gradually move your hands forward in the starting position. Eventually you'll look like Superman flying through the air because your arms will be fully outstretched.

But to start with, you can try positioning your arms even with your head. In a regular Military Pushup, your hands are even with your chest. Once you can do about 15 of those, then you can try moving your hands even further forward to the Superman flying position.

Move your hands forward gradually over the upcoming days. Allow yourself to develop enough muscle strength to hold yourself up. I have yet to try any ab exercise, including with machines that matches this exercise. The only thing similar would be using a roller, which is actually very similar to what you are trying to do here.

After doing some serious work with the Superman Pushups I feel an incredible muscular development in my abdominals. The ridges between my abs are much deeper than before. I also can contract them much tighter than ever before. I feel so much power in them.

Crunches and situps never force such a tight contraction as the Superman Pushup does. I highly recommend you ad these to your routine. Nothing works your core like doing these. If you can do them fully outstretched then you know you have a super powerful core.

My abs really do feel like abs of steel.

I have something to share with you.

I still can't get over how fast I can run on the tennis court. It's like having an extra motor in my legs powering me to reach almost every ball. I think this is why the Lightning Speed Fitness Program has sold so well. It's because I have tremendous enthusiasm for the results I've attained using it.

The other day I was teaching tennis and my student hit me a very short ball. The thing was, that I didn't try to go after it at first. I was lazy, but then I figured, what the heck, I'll go after it.

Normally there is no way I would have even reached that ball with such a late start. But I'm just so fricken fast these days that I got to the ball. But in getting to the ball I made a lot of noise because I had to jump over a ball hopper right after I hit the ball and I ended up running to the other side of the tennis court and crashing into the side net.

It was kind of embarrasing. It's not something that normally happens at a tennis court. This hardly ever happens for a tennis instructor. We don't usually run around like crazy.

My fellow teaching pros told me to slow down, that I'm too old to be running like that. These guys know me from over 10 years ago. I'm actually faster now than I was back then. I'll be 38 in June but I move like an 18 year old.

I can't tell you how much enjoyment I derive from my new found speed. It's a lot of fun to be fast. Especially because I wasn't particularly fast before.

I can thank my speed to one thing and one thing only. Regularly doing the Lightning Speed Exercise. It takes me less than ten minutes to do it on my workout days. But there is nothing better for strengthening and developing your thighs, knees, but and even your ankles.
